Dr. Cherry has been working in the field of periodontics since 1988.

He received his doctorate of dental surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta. He went beyond regular periodontology training to receive not only his certification in Periodontics, but also his Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D.) degree from Baylor University. After completing his studies at Baylor University in Texas, he returned to Georgia where he entered private practice in periodontal and dental implant care.

His treatment philosophy is to provide you with caring, individualized attention. He applies this by thoroughly discussing treatment options with you, customizing your treatment plan to meet your personal needs, and personally addressing any questions or concerns you may have.

Dr. Cherry is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology.

On a Personal Note:

Dr. Cherry lives locally with his wife, Nancy and their three children. He volunteers his time to help coach his children's football team. In addition to a busy professional and family life, he is an avid outdoors-man and SEC football fan.
